Swirls was my first design from a knitting class in Bangkok, I worked hard at perfecting the closing.  Very few of my knitters can even read the pattern, but the look is worth it.  If you are looking for this natural look choose cream cotton or for a smoother look choose wool which comes in tan or cream.  Or stripe it up.

Chu is my head knitter, co-teacher and first knitter in Tay La Okla.  She hosted me at her hut and had the opportunity to take all our scraps pieces of yarn and slowly collect them into a substantial ball of yarn.  I saw what she was doing and some pieces would be an arms length and all of a sudden she had this beautiful hat.   I couldn't believe how beautiful all the colors looked and I thanked God for her incredible design and named it after her.
All are fleeced lined and come with minor differences in each.
